Our Vision cont....

ACT NOW IN:

1 - EVANGELISM:
"... Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."  (Mark 16:15)  The Church is called to proclaim the Good News of Christ, to bring healing to the sick, to bring deliverance to the oppressed and to see that the captives are set free by Christ's power.  (Luke 4:18)  All that we do in worship, prayer, fellowship, and teaching is preparation for evangelism.  God gave Jesus because He loved the world.  His love has not changed and we are to go to those that are lost with the message of God's love and grace.

2 - EQUIPPING:
"Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them:  if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness." (Rom. 12:6-8)

One of the most important aspects of what we believe and teach as a church is that every believer is called by God to minister.  The ministry will vary according to the gifts God has given to an individual, but God expects the gifts He has given to be used.

In line with that, is the need and the expectation to be equipped for the work of the ministry.  Simply put, that means we want to help every believer at Dundalk Assembly find out what his/her spiritual gifts are and how those spiritual gifts can be used to impact believers in the body of Christ, and reach those outside of the church.  It is man's idea to hold on to what you get, but it is God's plan that what you receive from Him be given away.  This requires letting go and allowing God to use you.

3 - ENCOURAGEMENT:
"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." (I Thess. 5:11) Dundalk Assembly is an exciting place to be; it is here that you will learn to become a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ.  We want to encourage you in your walk with the Lord, and together we will encourage one another.

There are people here who love the Lord with all of their hearts.  As you become friends with other Christians, you will learn from their example the ministry of encouragement.  We share our struggles and successes, our pleasure and our pain, so that you, too, will learn to overcome trials and temptations which will come your way.

Being closely related to other believers in Jesus Christ also gives you a protection from the power of the enemy.  Satan walks about as a roaring lion seeking someone to devour, but there is strength in unity, and the ministry of encouragement in the body of Christ promotes unity.

4 - EXALTATION:
"The Lord Lives!  Praise be to my Rock!  Exalted be God, the Rock, my Savior!"  (II Samuel 22:47)  As His name is lifted in worship, exalted in praise, there is an overwhelming sense of the glory of God because of the revelation of Jesus Christ and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.  It is always our intention to practice God's presence in exaltation.  Worship must become an experience in the life of every believer, not just a part of the schedule during a church service.  To be a dynamic Pentecostal church, there must be dynamic corporate worship as we exalt His glorious Name together in a celebration of praise as well as an awe-inspiring solemnity in the presence of the Almighty God.  The atmosphere should be charged with the power, and the presence of His glory!  "Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together." (Psalms 34:3)
